Klaüs Kramer

  Uno de los organizadores de la IM2013, Karl Kleine, envió ayer un email a todos los participantes con la petición de imágenes del encuentro y sobre todo el anuncio del inesperado fallecimiento por ataque cardíaco de unos de los conferenciantes, Klaüs Kramer,  el 27 de Noviembre,  cuando acudía a su semanal conferencia en el Berlin Technical University. 

 Copio parte del email:


  And then, after this recall of that successful and joyful meeting in Berlin, there is the bad and sad news, that Klaus Krämer is not among us any more. On nov. 26th, he had his 70th anniversary. Next day, the 27th, he left home to give his weekly lecture for EE students at Berlin Technical University. Still in the building, on his way down the stairs he had a heart attack and died. It happened suddenly, quickly, and totally unexpected.

Klaus was an electrical engineer, and he worked for most of his life on a number of unique problems in providing electrical power to the island of Berlin. Later it was the integration of Berlin in the German and European power grid, and then the setup of trading of power capacities. Even after his retirement from BEWAG / Vattenfall, he was a sought expert on electrical energy and worked as consultant and lobbyist, both in Berlin and in Brussels. He also gave courses at Berlin Technical University. Next to that, he founded together with a number of collegues from earlier years at BEWAG, the former Berlin power authority, the Energie-Museum in Berlin. In recent years he served as chairman (and head custodian) of the museum association.  [see also http://www.energie-museum.de] Needless to say, his speciality in slide rules were rules for electrical and electronical problems. For the latter, Klaus was also a radio amateur.

No he recibido nada, pero soy de viaje y casi no tengo connecion.

Todas las pérdidas son irreparables. La vida es muy corta y muy frágil y no tiene repuestos, no deberíamos perder el tiempo con enfados y remilgos absurdos.
